PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book storage management system which secures a communication range of electromagnetic waves a tag reader emits and reads wireless tags of books received in a container by irradiation with electromagnetic waves over a wide range.SOLUTION: The system comprises a container 6 the interior of which surrounded by a first side wall 26 and a second side wall 27 is formed into an upward opening reception space for receiving books 4 and tag readers 15 arranged in directions of irradiation with electromagnetic waves from a position above the second side wall into the reception space to be capable of reading identification information of wireless tags. Antenna faces 34, 35 that receive and transmit electromagnetic waves of the tag readers take a nearly rectangular shape having longitudinal dimensions of half or more of the right and left directions of the container and a vertical dimension where electromagnetic waves can reach the depth side of the reception space, face the front side and the back side of the container, and slide in lateral directions to be arranged at partially overlapping positions. |
