PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To much improve operation touch in a writing instrument in which the barrel stores a writing body to move a sliding piece forward by the rotation of a cylinder cam, and to make the tip of the writing body coupled with the sliding piece project out of the shaft tip.SOLUTION: A cylindrical cam 20 has a cam flat part 22a circumferentially formed in an arc profile form, a pair of cam slopes 22b so extended as to turn peaked forward from both end sides of the cam flat part, a cam top 22c of predetermined width to which the tip of the pair of cam slopes is continuous, and a recessed cam bottom part 22d provided in the cam flat part by at least one to make a sliding piece fittable so as to be detachable. The sliding piece 8 coupled with the writing instrument 11 comes in contact with the cam top part of the cylindrical cam, thereby making the tip part of the writing instrument project out of the shaft tip. In this state, the sliding piece coupled with either of at least other writing instruments 12, 13 is fitted in the cam bottom part. |
