PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element which can reduce malfunction caused by crystallization of a compound included in a layer arranged between electrodes.SOLUTION: The light-emitting element comprises a layer including aromatic hydrocarbon and metal oxide between electrodes. The aromatic hydrocarbon is not especially limited but it is preferable to have hole mobility of 1×10cm/Vs and over. As such aromatic hydrocarbon, 2-tert-butyl-9,10-di(2-naphthyl) anthracene, anthracene, 9,10-diphenyl anthracene, tetracene, rubrene, perylene, 2,5,8,11-tetra(tert-butyl) perylene and the like are included, for example. As the metal oxide, it is preferable to exhibit electron acceptability against the aromatic hydrocarbon. As such metal oxide, molybdenum oxide, vanadium oxide, ruthenium oxide, rhenium oxide and the like are included, for example. |
