PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor which can be used even in a high temperature area of 200°C or more.SOLUTION: A dielectric composition comprises, as a main component, a dielectric oxide represented by general formula (CaSr)(TiZr)(SiGe)O, where x, y, z, a, b, and c are 0.9≤x≤1.1, 0.9≤y≤1.1, 0.9≤z≤1.1, 0.05≤a≤0.8, 0.05≤b≤0.8, and 0.05≤c≤0.8. In a powder X-ray diffraction pattern using CuKα rays, the strength of a peak showing the center positioning of Ti of an oxygen octahedron, where 2&thetas; appears in the range of 32° to 34°, is 0.1% or less with respect to the strength of a main peak of a CaTiSiOtype structure. |
