PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and systems for manipulation of media and particles, whether they may be inert materials or biomaterials, such as cells in suspension cell culture, by using a fluidized bed.SOLUTION: The methods and systems comprise use of an apparatus comprising a rotating chamber where the action of the combined forces of fluid flow force and centrifugal force forms a fluidized bed within the rotating chamber. |
