Provided is a near infrared cut-off filter glass which exhibits excellent optical characteristics such as high visible-light transmittance, and low near-infrared light transmittance. This near infrared cut-off filter glass includes P, Al, R (with the caveat that R represents at least one element from among Li, Na, and K), R' (with the caveat that R' represents at least one element from among Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, and Zn), and Cu. The near infrared cut-off filter glass is characterized in that (Cu+/the total amount of Cu)×100[%] is within the range of 0.01-4.0%. |
