Disclosed in some examples are devices (e.g., APs and STAs), systems, methods, and machine readable mediums for allowing proper channel estimations (e.g., frequency offset estimation) in MU UL-MIMO systems. In some examples, each STA is allowed to send a signal on the same Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) tone across different times of the preamble. By checking the phase difference on the same frequency across the different symbols in the preamble, an access point (AP) may estimate the frequency offset.
