The present invention relates to the field of medical or cosmetic weight management. In particular, the present invention provides compounds for inhibition of fat absorption. Said compounds are characterized as phospholipase A inhibitors. In particular, the PLA inhibitors of the invention can be lysophospholipid-conjugates. The compounds of the invention can be used for therapeutic and cosmetic body fat reduction in a subject. Therapeutic use of the inventive compounds can in particular include obesity treatment. The present invention also provides methods, compositions and kits for weight management. |
