The present invention relates to a card transaction processing apparatus and method in an acquirer server. To this end, the acquirer server processes a card payment requested by a payment relay server, provides to the payment relay server an approval number assigned for the processed card payment, and stores payment information containing at least the assigned approval number and a transaction date. The acquirer server receives Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) information from the payment relay server, verifies transaction details corresponding to each of the approval numbers and the transaction dates of each of a plurality of transaction details included in the received EDI information based on the stored payment information and thereby processes a buying transaction.
