The driving control system of an electric vehicle of the present invention comprises: a remaining capacity calculating unit for calculating the remaining capacity of a battery; and a control unit for controlling the value of an output current outputted to a driving unit of an electric vehicle to be a preset limit current value or lower when the remaining capacity reaches a preset value. The electric vehicle can travel a maximum distance when the remaining capacity of the electric vehicle becomes the preset value or lower. In addition, the electric vehicle can move to a charging station by searching the charging station adjacent to the current location of the electric vehicle and limiting an output current.
