Disclosed are an operating method of a wearable device paired with a mobile terminal, and the wearable device. Provided is the operating method of a wearable device, comprising the steps of: receiving, from a mobile terminal connected to a wearable device via short-range wireless communications, information of an incoming call received by a mobile terminal; in response to receiving an incoming call reception refusal input with respect to the received incoming call by the mobile terminal from a user, providing an incoming call processing option list to a user; and receiving a user′s gesture list for the incoming call processing option list and then transmitting a result value corresponding to the gesture to the mobile terminal.
