PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxial hinge capable of opening and closing a first housing and a second housing from 0 to at least 180 or more degrees, preferably to 360 degrees with regularity and opening and closing at an arbitrary opening or closing angle in a stable stop state, and a terminal device using this biaxial hinge.SOLUTION: A biaxial hinge comprises selective rotation restriction means connecting a first hinge shaft 10 to a second hinge shaft 12 by a connecting member 20 so as to be rotatable in a parallel state, and capable of selectively rotating the first hinge shaft 10 and the second hinge shaft 12, and further comprises: friction torque generation means 16 generating a friction torque at a time of the rotation of the first hinge shaft 10 and/or the second hinge shaft 12; suction means 17 exhibiting a suction feature at a time of the rotation by a predetermined angle; and stopper means 19 restricting a rotation angle of the first hinge shaft 10 and/or the second hinge shaft 12. |
