A hydroponic culturing apparatus provided with: a culturing tank (1) in the interior of which plants (P) are maintained and into the lower section of which a nutrient solution (F) is introduced; a partition (4) for partitioning into a first space (D1) in which the above-ground portions (P1) of the plants (P) are located and a second space (D2) in which the below-ground portions (P2) of the plants (P) are located; an environment control section (81) for performing control to adjust the temperature of the first space (D1) to a first temperature in a first period and to a second temperature that is lower than the first temperature in a second period; and a humidity control section (83) for performing control to reduce the humidity of the second space when the plant growth period transitions from the first period to the second period.
