Provided in the present invention are an identification method and device for a lost data packet. The identification method comprises: when a first synchronization sequence at where a received synchronization packet is located comprises a control packet, unifiedly sorting the packet sequence numbers of data packets in the first synchronization sequence, where the packet sequence numbers comprise: the packet sequence numbers of the data packets and the packet sequence number of the control packet; and, when a discontinuity is found in the packet sequence numbers in the sorted result, making a data packet corresponding to a lost packet sequence number in the sorted result as the lost data packet. Employment of the technical solution provided in the present invention solves the problem that the related art has yet to provide an effective technical solution to allow for rapid and accurate identification of which packet is lost among received packets, thus allowing for rapid and accurate determination of a lost data packet among received packets. |
