Disclosed are a method and device for processing an application for a speaking right. The method comprises: determining that a terminal queues up for a speaking right to be applied; continuously sending a first NAS message to the terminal within a preset duration, wherein the first NAS message carries handshake request signalling, and the handshake request signalling is used for keeping the application of the terminal for the speaking right unreleased; and receiving a second NAS message from the terminal, wherein the second NAS message carries handshake response signalling. According to the technical solution provided in the present invention, when a terminal queues up during the application for a speaking right, it is unnecessary to apply for the speaking right many times, so that it is easy to apply for the speaking right within a shorter period of time, thereby improving the user experience. |
