A multiple-box-type water meter wherein to reduce the fluid resistance of upward flow flowing into a measurement chamber and make smooth inflow possible: each inflow nozzle (N1) is formed so as to have an open lower surface; and the surface formed by the exposure of the bottom wall part (16) of the rear part of an inflow nozzle (N1) functions as an upward flow guide surface for guiding the upward flow (S2) that passes through the bottom wall parts (1c, 16) of a lower case (1) and lower inner case (K1) and flows upward at an inflow nozzle (N1) portion. The upward flow guide surface (Ft) is formed into a curved or planar tapered surface for which the length from the lower edge thereof to the center (C) of the lower inner case (K1) is slightly shorter than the length from the upper edge thereof to the center (C) of the lower inner case (K1). |
