Household electrical appliance control panel (6) comprising a membrane (7) with blisters (70) defining the keys of the control panel (6) and a backing piece (8) to which the membrane (7) is attached, the backing piece (8) having openings (80) opposite said blisters (70), characterized in that the membrane (7) and the backing piece (8) are respectively made of a first and a second chemically non-metallizable material and in that the backing piece (8) comprises at least one part that is not covered by the membrane (7) and onto which a decorative piece (9) of chemically metallizable material is overmoulded, the decorative piece (9) having an external surface which is chemically metallized.
