According to the present invention, a tilting device for a chair comprises: a base unit; a seating unit rotating with respect to an upper portion of the base unit by a seesaw method or of which one side is rotated based on the other side; and a back rest unit supported by the base unit to be linked with the seating unit to be rotated forward and downward. The present invention performs a seesaw motion, wherein one side and the other side of the seating unit are rotated in an opposite direction to each other through a rotating means mutually hinged with a center of the base unit and the seating unit or rotates one side based on the other side. The seating unit and one side of the back rest unit come in contact with each other to be linked with each other to perform descending movement through the descending means where the lower portion of the seating unit and the upper portion of the back rest unit are installed. Moreover, the present invention performs the forward movement while the back rest unit is guided by the base unit through the advancing means connecting the base unit and the back rest unit, and the seesaw motion and rotation and the descending movement and the advancing movement are simultaneously and continuously performed. |
