PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition with improved stability, that comprises subtilisin and a peptide compound as stabilizer thereof.SOLUTION: The subtilisin-type protease in liquid detergent compositions is stabilized by peptide aldehyde or ketone derivative, e.g. a peptide compound with OH-substituted phenyl-alanine aldehyde as C-terminal residue. Specifically, provided is a liquid composition comprising subtilisin and a peptide compound of formula B2-B1-B0-R in which R is hydrogen, CH3, CX3, CHX2 or CH2X (X is a halogen atom); B1 is a single amino acid residue; the Bis a phenylalanine residue with OH-substituent at the para and/or meta-position; and Bmay be one or plural amino acid residue and optionally may comprise N-terminal protective group. |
