PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration of signals while reducing the size.SOLUTION: A receptacle includes: a cylindrical outer frame; plural pairs of female side first and second differential contacts 916 and 917, which are disposed in the outer frame, to which plural pairs of differential signals are allotted respectively; and plural first female contacts 914 including plural female side ground contacts 918 to which the ground is allotted respectively. Viewing from a direction along a center axis Ax' of the outer frame, the plural first female contacts 914 are arranged in two rows so that the pair of female side first and second differential contacts 916 and 917 are neighboring to each other; and the number of the female side ground contacts 918 neighboring to the female side first differential contacts 916 in the pair of the female side first and second differential contacts 916 and 917 is the same as the number of the female side ground contacts 918 neighboring to the female side second differential contact 917.
