PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triple quadrupole mass spectroscope having an ion source into which a liquid sample is introduced by FIA method, and which can determine the optimum control parameters, i.e., can tune the device, in a short time with the number of sample injection times as small as possible.SOLUTION: The strength of product ions is measured by changing the value of collision energy to be adjusted with a rough step width, at first, in rough adjustment mode over a wide predetermined range (S1, S2), and then the data is integrated every time when the measurement period is repeated, thus determining the maximum integrated value for each product ion as the approximate value of collision energy (Y in S3, S4). Thereafter, switching is made to fine adjustment mode, and the strength of product ions is measured by changing a narrow energy range around the approximate value with a fine step width (S6, S7). Data is integrated for each measurement period, and the maximum integrated value for each product ion is determined as the optimum value of collision energy (S8). |
