PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plurality of transmission patterns for a pilot system transmitted from a mobile station or a base station.SOLUTION: According to frequency selectivity and/or time selectivity of a channel between a mobile station and a base station, an appropriate pattern is selected (1002). The selected pattern permits improvement in receiving of a pilot symbol. Further, in order to reduce interference and/or bias from a different mobile station in the same slot via the same frequency, a scramble code may be applied to the pattern. |
