RANDOM TIME DELAY COMPENSATION REALIZATION METHOD FOR HARDWARE AND DEVICE THEREOF

A random time delay compensation realization method for hardware and a device thereof. The method comprises: acquiring a random number (S10); acquiring a random time delay concentration range according to a physical layer operation administration and maintenance message data packet acquired from an optical line terminal (OLT) (S20); and modifying a pre-equalization time delay according to the random number and the random time delay concentration range (S30). By modifying the pre-equalization time delay, the problem existing in a random time delay algorithm for hardware that some ONUs cannot be discovered by an OLT for a long time when the generation of the random time delays of the hardware is relatively concentrated is solved.
