Provided is an electric die-casting machine which makes it possible to appropriately evaluate the soundness of a shock-absorbing device, and to efficiently produce non-defective die-cast products. An electric injection device (1) is equipped with a shock-absorbing device (31) for absorbing surge pressure which acts on an injection plunger (9), and a controller (13) for evaluating the presence/absence of deterioration or the degree of deterioration of the shock-absorbing device (31). The controller (13) obtains the amount of compression of the shock-absorbing device (31) on the basis of the difference (S) between a nut-body (7) position calculated from output values from rotation sensors (10a, 11a) during the pressure-increasing step, and an injection-plunger (9) position calculated from the output value of a position sensor (17). The controller then determines the presence/absence of deterioration or the degree of deterioration of the shock-absorbing device (31), on the basis of a comparison between the obtained amount of compression of the shock-absorbing device (31) and the reference amount of compression which was stored in advance. |
