PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of stannous oxide, by which Na, K, Pb, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Al, Mg, Ca, Cr, Mn, Co, In, and Cd can be effectively removed.SOLUTION: The production method includes: an Sn ion-containing acid solution preparation step S01 for obtaining an Sn ion-containing acid solution; a first neutralization step S02 for adding at least one alkali solution selected from ammonium carbonate, ammonium bicarbonate, and ammonia water to the Sn ion-containing solution, and then maintaining pH of 3 to 6 to obtain Sn precipitation; an Sn precipitation separation step S03 for separating the Sn precipitation; an Sn precipitation dispersion step S04 for dispersing the separated Sn precipitation in a solvent solution; and a second neutralization step S06 for adding an alkali solution to the Sn precipitation dispersion and then heating to obtain SnO. In the first neutralization step S02, Na, K, Pb, Fe, Ni, Cu, Zn, Al, Mg, Ca, Cr, Mn, Co, In, and Cd are left in the Sn ion-containing acid solution. |
