In this inverter drive motor, at an end portion of an electric wire member other than the input end portion and the output end portion, which are the two end portions of a single coil of an electric wire member, a short circuit occurs at the innermost circumferential end portion and the outermost circumferential end portion when the end portions of electric wire members wound in the same direction are connected, and a short circuit occurs at the innermost circumferential end portions or the outermost circumferential end portions when the end portions of electric wire members wound in opposite directions are connected. The input end portion and the output end portion are electrically connected on a single path, which makes it possible to alleviate voltage excessively distributed to an power supply unit coil close to a power supply unit and prevent insulation breakdown of the motor. |
