The present system is a data collection system (1) for collecting data/signal related to a robot operation from a robot controller (2), and is equipped with: a data collection condition setting means (6) for setting a condition for collecting the robot operation-related data/signal from the robot controller (2); and data storage means (7, 8, 9) for storing the robot operation-related data/signal collected from the robot controller (2). A shared memory (5), wherein the data storage means (7, 8, 9) and the data collection condition setting means (6) are formed, is formed on a substrate that can be attached and detached to and from an expansion slot of the robot controller (2). According to the present system, a data collection function can be added to an existing robot at a later time, thereby enabling various data related to robot operations to be arbitrarily selected and collected. |
