<p>A device for attachment to a fishing line (102) and capable of shearing water to create a bubble trail (112) along a length of the fishing line (102), preferably mounted at the beginning of a leader line (104) and, when pulled through the water at trolling speeds, causing water shear. The device is formed from a housing (10) having a passageway (18) to receive a fishing line (102) and at least one aperture (20, 22, 24, 26) constructed and arranged to cause the static pressure in water passing through the at least one aperture (20, 22, 24, 26) while at a trolling speed, wherein water is reduced to below the vapor pressure forming a gaseous state of bubbles (112) effective for concealing a length of the fishing line (102).</p> |
