<p>Abstract A disk-shaped universal slinger with dimensions of 10mm thickness and 88.50mm diameter. The slinger has top and bottom faces and an aperture with bore size of 31.8mm. Multiple grooves surround the bore with the radius of (R20.90, R25.75, R29.25, R34.25 and R39.25mm). The grooves are 1 mm in depth located on top and bottom faces. The grooves provide weaker portion for easy separation of the rubber in different diameters that can be used as a slinger ring for protection of all bearing housing from dirt and/or water. The grooves also facilitate the cutting of the slinger to the required size precisely and accurately. 2f K Ii</p> |
