PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image verification method capable of determining that two images different in pixel units are substantially the same through characteristics of a system development project in an image comparison process in software development.SOLUTION: The image verification method includes: extracting and comparing character strings in an image from each of a correct answer image as a comparison object and a verification image; extracting and comparing background color RGB values that are RGB values having a maximal number of pixels among the RGB values of pixels constituting each image from each of the correct answer image and the verification image; calculating an agreement rate of the pixels constituting each image of the correct answer image and the verification image; and when the agreement rate is less than a threshold, verifying how much identity level the correct answer image and the verification image satisfy, the identity level required in an image comparison process in the software development. |
