<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measuring method capable of quickly, accurately measuring measurement target radioactivity while suppressing the effect of environmental radiation, and a measuring apparatus enabling such measurements, ensuring light weight and excellent handleability.SOLUTION: A measuring apparatus 10 is a directional apparatus comprising a detection element 20 and a shield body 30, and measuring the radioactivity of a radioactive material emitting characteristic X-rays and gamma rays. The detection element 20 detects the characteristic X-rays incident on a detection surface 22. The shield body 30 is provided to surround at least the periphery of the detection element 20, transmits the gamma rays and shields scattered gamma rays that are scattered rays of the gamma rays and the characteristic X-rays. The measuring apparatus 10 counts the characteristic X-rays incident on the detection surface 22 directed to a measuring target 100 containing a radioactive material.</p> |
