PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair which adjusts its posture without changing wheels in contact with the ground even when topography changes.SOLUTION: A wheelchair includes: a seat having a seat surface supporting a user's body; two rails which extend to the ground from left and right side surfaces of the seat respectively and make positions of the seat where load is applied movable in a longitudinal direction; two driving wheels which are in contact with the ground by receiving load of the respective rails and are rotatably provided; and posture adjustment means which drives one of the two rails or the other one in the way that a lower end of one of the rails goes farther from the seat than a lower end of the other rail in accordance with a force given to a prescribed part, and adjusts a posture of the seat surface with respect to the ground. |
