PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the use of a molded contact lens in combination with a pharmaceutical composition suitable for delivery to the eye.SOLUTION: The molded contact lenses preferably are commercially available, and are not specifically designed for cornea correction; a factor (e.g. hyaluronidase) in the pharmaceutical composition shapes the cornea of the eye in order to correct refractive abnormality of the eye; the contact lens and the pharmaceutical composition cause change in the radius of curvature of the anterior surface of cornea, and thereby correct the refractive abnormality of the eye; one advantage of the technique of the present invention is that the patient with a particular visual requirement manages the treatment that satisfies the requirement toward near visual and far visual acuity of the patient; and the present invention also provides a kit and the kit includes a molded contact lens useful for the system of the present invention, a pharmaceutical composition suitable for delivery to the eyes, and an instruction. |
