A portable terminal (101) which is presented by an operator to a payer of an electronic value. The portable terminal (101) functions as an acquisition unit (102) and a control unit (103) by executing a program. The acquisition unit (102) acquires first biological information from the payer. If second biological information, which has been acquired in the past by the acquisition unit (102), does not match the first biological information, the control unit (103) starts near field communication with a transportable device supplied by the payer for payment of the electronic value. Furthermore, the present invention can be configured such that a prompt unit (104) with which the portable terminal (101) is equipped outputs a message which prompts the payer to perform an action for the purpose of agreeing to the payment. In this configuration, the acquisition unit (102) acquires the first biological information from the action performed by the payer. |
