PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sterilization system for extinguishing harmful bacteria, or for reducing or removing breakage of immune globulin for optimum health of a calf or the like, concerning a device and a method for sterilizing milk or colostrum to be supplied to a calf or the like.SOLUTION: A milk treatment system 20 has an ultraviolet milk treatment device 30 including an inlet conduit 26 and an outlet conduit 28, a milk heat exchanger, and a control device 22 connected to the milk heat exchanger. In the milk treatment system 20, the control device 22 controls a heat exchanger treatment temperature so that milk is treated without reaching the sterilization temperature of 145°F(62.8°C). |
