PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate or minimize one or more of drawbacks of encapsulated benefit agents, namely, formulation limits, permeability, releasability and depositability, and provide additional perfume delivery opportunities.SOLUTION: Microcapsules are obtained through either oil in water (O/W) or water in oil (W/O) emulsification. The microcapsules are obtained by steps including dispersing an oil soluble amine modified polyfunctional polyvinyl monomer (or oligomer) and an oil soluble bi- or polyfunctional vinyl monomer or oligomer along with a free radical initiator, such as an azo or peroxy initiator, and an organic acid into an internal phase oil which is a non-solvent for a water phase. |
