In a method for manufacturing a battery arrangement from a plurality of prismatic battery cells (10, 10a) by means of compression, a check is performed during sustained compression as to whether one of the prismatic battery cells (10a) following a direction relative to the other battery cells (10) which is different from the direction of the compression, and if that is the case, the compression is suspended such that the battery cells can decompress, and then is compressed again and checked until ultimately no battery projects in the said direction. |
