<p>The present invention relates to a method for storing an image sequence and a method for compressing, storing an image sequence. The method for storing an image sequence comprises the following steps: within the image sequence, forming a pixel-bit sequence according to known positions and order of each pixel in each of image frames formed by pixels; within the image sequence, setting a pixel value of a first pixel-bit position of a preceding image frame as a "preceding pixel value", while setting the pixel value of the same pixel-bit position of the succeeding image frame adjacent to the said preceding image frame as a "succeeding pixel value", comparing the said "preceding pixel value" with the said "succeeding pixel value"; creating a recording program to record a number of times of consecutively repeated presence of the "preceding pixel value" in the pixel-bit position. The present invention can decrease the data storage amount of the image when the image is processed and stored by statistically recording the repeated data content.</p> |
