PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for diagnosing a condition of a fuel cell, which can conduct a diagnosis while distinguishing a shortage of a fuel gas and a shortage of an oxidant gas.SOLUTION: The device for diagnosing the condition of the fuel cell calculates impedance in a first local portion (for instance, in a vicinity of a hydrogen outlet 103b) at which a concentration of oxygen contained in air in a unit cell 10 that is a diagnosis object is high and a concentration of hydrogen tends to be low, also calculates impedance in a second local portion (for instance, in a vicinity of an air outlet 104b) at which a concentration of hydrogen in the unit cell 10 that is the diagnosis object is high and a concentration of oxygen contained in air tends to be low, and then diagnoses the shortage of hydrogen on the basis of the impedance detected in the first local portion and diagnoses the shortage of oxygen on the basis of the impedance detected in the second local portion. |
