The present invention relates to a method for preparing an antibody having an adjusted glycan content, which comprises a step of culturing a cell expressing an antibody in a medium containing glycerol as an additive for adjusting a glycan content of an antibody, a method for high quality population of antibodies by adjusting a sugar content of an antibody to a targeted content, and a population of antibodies prepared by the methods. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for adjusting a glycan content of an antibody, which comprises a step of culturing a cell expressing an antibody in a medium containing glycerol as an additive for adjusting a glycan content of an antibody. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a medium for adjusting a glycan content of an antibody, which contains glycerol as an additive for adjusting a glycan content of an antibody. When the method for preparing an antibody according to the present invention is used, a glycan content of an antibody is adjusted to consistently prepare high-quality targeted population of antibodies. In addition, in the light of biosimilar development, a glycan content of an antibody is adjusted by the method of the present invention, thereby enabling preparation of an antibody having bioequivalence compared to a control drug. The glycan content is adjusted through a medium composition to make an adjustment simple and improve utilization in temporal and economical aspects, thereby enabling the method of the present invention to be widely used in a field of antibody preparation.
