<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stop line detection system, a stop line detection device, a stop line detection method, and a computer program that are capable of appropriately detecting a stop line formed on a road surface. <P>SOLUTION: A stop line detection system is configured to specify a stop line candidate as a stop line, if road surface signs of the stop line candidate, which are nearer to a travelling direction side than road surface signs in a lane marking for each travelling direction, are detected and the road surface signs of the stop line candidate are detected within a predetermined distance in a vehicle travelling direction from road surface signs in a lane marking for each travelling direction that is nearest to a branch point side, when detecting a feature (stop line candidate) as a candidate of a stop line, using a highly accurate location system in which a stop line is to be recognized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
