<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical transmission/reception system that is capable of suppressing an influence of reflection return light without using an optical isolator.SOLUTION: An optical transmission/reception system includes: an optical transmitter 4 including an EA modulator integrated semiconductor laser 401 that converts an electric modulation signal into modulated output light and outputs the modulated output light; and an optical receiver 6 that receives input of the modulated output light outputted from the optical transmitter 4 and converts the modulated output light into an electric modulation signal, wherein the optical transmitter 4 includes another semiconductor laser 402, which emits another modulated output light P22 based on another electric modulation signal V24, and is provided with a bias tee 415, with another electric modulation signal V23 being applied to the other semiconductor laser 402 and an attenuation electric modulation signal V25 attenuated by an electric attenuator 416 being applied to a semiconductor laser 411 in addition to a DC current I21 for driving.</p> |
