PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can more efficiently suppress liquid remaining on and liquid returning to a surface sheet, with which the body is hardly sticky, and further, which quickly deals with a case when a large amount of body fluid is excreted at a time, and fits on the body of a wearer, and has superior flexibility to follow the motion of the body well.SOLUTION: The absorbent article includes a front surface sheet on the skin abutment side, a rear surface sheet on the non-skin abutment side, and an absorber interposed between both the sheets. The absorbent article has a high basis-weight region and a relatively lower basis-weight region compared with the high basis-weight region, and the low basis-weight region is arranged in a planar direction to surround the high basis-weight region, and the surface sheet has a plurality of ridge protruding parts formed at the skin abutment side, and in the planar view of the surface sheet, a recessed part between the protruding parts is formed with a portion containing a less fiber amount or with holes passing through to the thick direction of the surface sheet. |
