<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing biopetroleum fuel by simple facilities and at a low cost which solves the problem derived from a biodiesel fuel by fatty acid alkyl esterification, a catalyst used therein, and a production system. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing biopetroleum fuel by thermal decomposition of fats and oils comprises a thermal decomposition step of bringing fats and oils into contact with a solid catalyst mainly comprising zeolite in the temperature range of 350-380°C, and a cooling step of cooling a gaseous component generated in this temperature range to obtain the biopetroleum fuel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
