<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a load in a main storage access path in real time, and flexibly adjust a period for issuing a memory patrol request. <P>SOLUTION: A memory controller 12 comprises a memory diagnosis circuit 120 which issues a diagnosis request D to a memory 13, that responds to an access request R from a processor 11, for diagnosing a state of the memory 13, measures a response time for the diagnosis request D, and when the measured response time is longer than predetermined time, makes a period for issuing the diagnosis request D longer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
