PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system that ensures a heat source for partial oxidation, and inhibits the oxidation of a fuel cell, by use of a simple system.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 10 includes a heat-up burner 15 that heats cathode air before the cathode air reaches a POX reformer 13. Thus, the cathode air is allowed to be heated before reaching the POX reformer 13 and then supplied to the POX reformer 13. The fuel cell system 10 also includes an air passage through which the cathode air is circulated to the POX reformer 13 and a fuel cell 14 in that order, and uses the cathode air as a heat exchange medium of a reforming catalyst of the POX reformer 13. |
