<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a plastic lens for use in eyeglasses, which is free from polymer peeling. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the plastic lens for use in glasses includes: a molding die assembly step of winding an adhesive tape 13 around side faces of two molding dies 11 and 12 oppositely located at a predetermined distance to fix the two molding dies 11 and 12 with the adhesive tape 13 and forming a cavity 14 for molding the lens surrounded by the two molding dies 11 and 12 and the adhesive tape 13; a pouring step of pouring a material composition 20 into the cavity 14; and a hardening step of hardening the material composition 20 to obtain the plastic lens 30. Holding power of the adhesive tape 13 conforming to JIS Z0237 is 10 mm or more or drop. During the hardening step, one or both of the two molding dies 11 and 12 move on an internal surface of the adhesive tape 13 from positions where they are fixed during the molding die assembly step to narrow mutual spacing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
