<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprinkler head cover attaching auxiliary tool having good efficiency at the attaching work time for a sprinkler head cover and also excellent in general-purpose properties. <P>SOLUTION: The sprinkler head cover attaching auxiliary tool 1 is used when attaching the sprinkler head cover 7 equipped with a cover plate 9 to fall on receiving heat in a fire, and the sprinkler head cover 7 covers the heat-sensitive part 5 of an existing sprinkler head 3 to be pressed to the sprinkler head 3 under predetermined pressure or above. This sprinkler head cover attaching auxiliary tool 1 has a contact part 51 brought into contact with the cover plate 9 and a body part 53 for allowing pressing force to act on the contact part 51 from below.
