<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide footwear that is easy to wear and hardly slips off. <P>SOLUTION: A slipper 1 includes: a plate-like base 4; and a cover 5 which is provided so as to cover part of the base 4 and forms an opening for inserting a foot 2 (the foot 2 wearing hosiery 3) with the base 4.
