<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for checking an insulated circuit for soundness that can check the insulated circuit for soundness without measuring the amount of light emitted by a light emitting element of the insulated circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The device for checking an insulated circuit for soundness includes: a current controller 11 for providing the control of feeding a light emitting element 1a configured to emit light when an input signal to an insulated circuit 1 is in an on state, with a current at a predetermined period when the input signal is in an off state; and a detector 18 for detecting an abnormality in the light emitting element 1a if a light receiving element 1b configured to become conductive when receiving the light emitted by the light emitting element 1a remains off for the predetermined period T1 or longer when the light emitting element 1a is fed with the current at the predetermined period T1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
